Keep review in step with your agents

Agents can open pull requests faster than anyone can read them. iJockey is the review console in the iStable CLI: paste a pull request link, read exactly what the branch changes, give your verdict, and send any fix back to a coding agent that works under your team's rules.

From any terminal where the iStable CLI is installed:

istable jockey https://github.com/your-org/your-repo/pull/42

Or point it at a local checkout: istable jockey .

Open a pull request with one command

Give iJockey the link to a pull request and it checks the branch out into a short-lived worktree of its own, then shows the change against the point where it left the base branch. You review what the branch actually adds, not noise from commits that landed on main in the meantime, and your own working copy is never touched.

Comment, approve or ask for changes

Leave comments on the lines that matter, then approve the pull request or send it back with changes requested. Each verdict is also kept in iHarness as a review record, so your team can see who reviewed which change, and what they decided, next to the rest of the project's history.

  • Comments on the exact lines you mean
  • Approve or request changes without leaving the console
  • A review record for every verdict, visible in iHarness

A diff rarely explains itself. Jump to any file or symbol by typing part of its name, or run a regular expression across the repository, to see where a changed function is called before you sign off on it. Search is built for monorepos, not just small projects.

  • Fuzzy search by file name
  • Jump straight to a symbol
  • Regular expressions across the whole repository

Fix small things in place

A typo in a message or a missing guard should not need a round trip. Make a quick edit right where you are reading, and keep reviewing.

Hand the rest to a coding agent

Select a block of code or one of your comments and send it to Claude Code, Codex, Kiro or OpenCode on your machine. The hand-off goes through istable launch, so the agent that picks it up has a known identity, claims the work so nobody else duplicates it, and shows it is still alive while it works. Every fix you get back can be traced to the review that asked for it.

Stays on your machine

iJockey runs locally and only answers on this computer unless you say otherwise. Each launch gets its own access key, nothing is reported to third parties, and new versions arrive with the iStable CLI rather than through a separate updater. GitHub access comes from your team's iHarness GitHub App, scoped to the repository, so no personal access token is needed.

  • Local only by default
  • A fresh access key for every launch
  • No usage reporting to third parties
  • Updates ship with the iStable CLI

Built on px0

iJockey is built on px0 (MIT), an open-source review console. We keep its license and notice with every build, and add the iStable pieces on top: repository-scoped GitHub access, agent hand-offs and review records.
